#List2: Korean dramas.

This is a randomly ordered list of all the Korean series I’ve seen so far.

• Boys over flowers.

Geum Jan-di attends the exclusive Shinhwa High School through a scholarship she obtains. She finds her shallow, privileged classmates unbearable, especially the notorious F4, consisting of four rich and handsome men: the arrogant Gu Jun-pyo , the quiet Yoon Ji-hoo , the charming So Yi-jung, and the flirtatious Song Woo-bin.

• Playful kiss

Also known as “Mischievous Kiss” is a romantic-comedy covering the romance between Baek Seung-Jo , an arrogant young man with a genius IQ, and Oh Ha-Ni, a ditzy young woman who gets poor grades, but whose heart is as powerful as Seung-Jo’s mind.

• Your beautiful.                                                                                              

Ko Mi-Nyeo & Ko Mi-Nam are twin brother and sisters. As a young adult, Ko Mi-Nyeo is set to become a nun.   Her twin brother Ko Min-Nam, who just joined the band, was seriously injured and sent to America to recover. Ma Hoon-Lee then pleads to Ko Mi-Nyeo to impersonate her brother until he recovers. For her brother’s sake, Ko Mi-Nyeo reluctantly agrees to play her brother.

• City hunter.

Lee Yoon-Sung works at the Blue House for the National Communication Network Team. He graduated from M.I.T. in the U.S. and possesses elite skills as an I.T. engineer. At the Blue House, Yoon-Sung meets Kim Na-Na who works as a bodyguard there. The two people fall for each other even though Yoon-Sung was warned not to fall in love. An elaborate plan for revenge is his ultimate mission.

• Pinocchio. 

Ha-Myeong grew up in a family with his firefighter father, mother and older brother. Ha-Myeong and his older brother both possess higher than normal intellect and are proud of their father. A fire at a waste facility though destroys his family. His mother dies a short time later and Ha-Myeong ends up being scooped out of the ocean by an unknown man.

• Personal Taste.

Jin-ho Jeon is a very stylish young man with the perfect looks. Jin-ho has also some faults which include being self-centered and obsession with cleanliness. Jin-ho Jeon then comes across Gae-in Park, a woman hurt by love and is now looking for a gay roommate/friend. Jin-ho wanting to live with the woman, then pretends to be a gay male.

• Heartstrings.

A series of misunderstandings causes Lee Shin, the cocky leader of “The Stupid” and Lee Gyu-won , a college student majoring in Traditional Korean Music to start on the wrong foot. Gyu-won does not understand why Lee Shin is so popular, until one day she is forced to go the band’s concert with her friends, who are fans of “The Stupid”. There, she sees Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

• Heirs.

The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families’ business empires, overcoming difficulties and growing every step of the way.

• Dream High. 

Six students at Kirin High School have a dream of becoming idols. During their school years, they learn how to develop their singing, songwriting and dancing skills while undergoing personal growth. They also start to develop feelings for each other. Each one of the students has his or her own strengths and weaknesses, but they strive to debut with the support and guidance of each other.

• Secret garden.

A story between Gil Ra-im , a stuntwoman, and Kim Joo-won, a high-end department store CEO. Through a misunderstanding while trying to resolve a scandal of his cousin, Oska , a famous singer, Ra-im and Joo-won meet and he finds himself stunned by her coolness. As two different worlds collide, Ra-im and Joo-won gradually learns about each other’s worlds when Ra-im and Joo-won switched bodies.

• Faith.

The series depicts the love between a warrior from the Goryeo Period and a female doctor from the present day, their love transcending time.

• My girlfriend is a gumiho.

Cha Tae-Woong is a spoiled young man with no interest in staying in college. Instead, Cha Tae-Woong wants to become an action actor. His wealthy grandfather Cha Poong though wants Tae-Woong to take his studies seriously & change his major from acting.he unknowingly frees the legendary nine tailed fox known as “Gumiho” . Tae-Woong fears for his life, but Gumiho just wants to be loved. 

• Please come back, Mister.

Kim Young-soo is a section chief in the women’s apparel section at Sunjin’s department store. During one of his overtimes, he accidentally falls from a roof and is killed. 

Han Gi-tak is a former gangster who runs a restaurant. He has loved actress Song Yi-yeon for many years, he gets in a car accident and is killed at the same time as Young-soo.

Young-soo and Gi-tak both arrive in the afterlife, They are given two months and return to life in new bodies: Young-soo as Lee Hae-joon , a handsome young man; and Gi-tak as Han Hong-nan, a pretty young woman.

• You who came from the stars. 

Do-Min Joon, an alien resembling human, who landed on earth four hundred years ago, has cynical views about human beings. His cynicism begins to fade away when he falls in love with an actress.

• Legend of the blue sea. 

The fates of Dam-ryeong and Se-hwa become entwined with their modern-day incarnations. Dam-ryeong was reborn as Heo Joon-jae, a charming con-artist. He meets a mermaid who looks like Se-hwa (whom he later named Shim Cheong) in Spain, and she was quickly besotted by him. Linked by dreams and mysterious artifacts, Joon-jae learns of Dam-ryeong’s world and his own fate, as he tries to prevent the same tragedy from befalling.
